Objectivity in Science
This manuscript develops an account of scientific objectivity through public criticism and revisable testing. It argues that agreement becomes more informative when the methods involved have different ways of failing, and examines how heterogeneous checks can expose errors that repetition within a shared method may leave intact.
The Axiom of Hope: Indexical Realism and the Structure-Dependence Problem
This preprint questions the inference from stable results across frameworks to knowledge of mind-independent reality. It develops the Structure-Dependence Problem and proposes Indexical Structural Realism as a method for stating the conditions of claims, comparing frameworks, and examining the independence and limits of their agreement.
